Open Education Week: Discovery and Campus Partners

During Open Education Week (#OEWeek) we celebrate Open Educational Resources (OER) and the many ways they can enrich your teaching and collaboration: “Open Education combines the traditions of knowledge sharing and creation with 21st century technology to create a vast pool of openly shared educational resources, while harnessing today’s collaborative spirit to develop educational approaches that are more responsive to learner’s needs.”

You can find a large collection of open educational materials at our library guide, https://guides.boisestate.edu/oer , or search meta search engines like Openly Available Sources Integrated Search (OASIS) from SUNY Geneseo’s Milne Library, or George Mason University’s Mason OER meta finder.

You also have campus partners that can get you started–join Boise State’s efforts to expand the use, support, and adoption of OERs at https://www.boisestate.edu/oer/
