Extended library hours for Exam Free Week and Finals Week

The Library will have extended hours on the first and second floors for Exam Free Week and Finals Week. We’ll have library staff on hand to answer your reference questions and to check out first-floor reserve materials. Our 2nd-floor instruction room (L 203) and its 32 computers will be available to students to use during this time.

Free coffee and treats will be provided each night (while supplies last) by the Associated Students of Boise State University (ASBSU). An officer from the Boise Police Department will be on duty in the library all night and can provide escort service as needed.

Exam Free Week:

  • Monday 12/9 thru Thursday, 12/12: Open at 7 AM and close at 2 AM
  • Friday 12/13: 7 AM to midnight
  • Saturday 12/14: 9 AM to midnight

Finals Week:

  • Sunday 12/15: Open at 9 AM and close on Wednesday 12/18 at 2 AM
  • Thursday 12/19: 7 AM to 2 AM
  • Friday 12/20: 7 AM to midnight
  • Saturday 12/21: 9 AM to 6 PM
  • Sunday 12/22: 9 AM to 6 PM
  • Monday 12/23: 7 AM to 5 PM

Winter Break:

  • Tuesday 12/24 thru Wednesday 1/1: Library and University offices are closed

The MakerLab is closed Monday 12/9 thru Friday 1/3 but they can accommodate requests and faculty research via email at
