June is LGBTQ Pride Month! A display on the first floor of Albertsons Library features Boise Pridefest memorabilia from the Collection on Gay Life in Boise, Idaho, preserved in Special Collections and Archives. Visitors may view the display through the end of July.

Boise first hosted a Pride parade in 1990, and Boise Pridefest now attracts thousands of people to a variety of celebratory events each year. Want to learn more about local LGBTQ history? Come to Special Collections and Archives on the 2nd floor (open M-F, 9-5) and look at these collections:
