During the semester, Monday through Friday, 11am – 6pm, the MakerLab offers training on all of the tools available. When you enter the space, on the second floor of the library, look for someone in a grey apron. They are the student employees and they will get you started on any project.
Any student, staff, or faculty can use the MakerLab for personal and academic projects. If you are working on something that you are considering for a patent, we have some alternative services to help guide you, too, so you can protect your work.
What does the MakerLab offer? A wide variety of emerging technology: glue guns, sewing machines, drills, dremel tools, a vinyl cutter, a green screen, 3D printers, 3D design instruction (TinkerCad), and a community of learners ready to help you.
A comprehensive list of equipment can be found on the MakerLab website.
