The Art of Travel display

Mallori Bjerke in front of Eiffel Tower

Mallori Bjerke, Access Services student assistant and traveler.

Anna Quindlen once said, “books are the plane, the train, and the road. They are the destination, and the journey. They are home.” This month’s travel display features books and movies that tell about the wonderful world of travel. This display was inspired by my travel experience when studying abroad in Grenoble, France with Academic Programs International. I believe all students should be able to experience the world of travel and be given the opportunity to break out of their comfort zones through access to study abroad. If you’re looking for a place to start, Amelie is one of my personal favorites! I hope patrons enjoy this display and are immersed in a world of travels that can inspire their next adventure.  –Mallori Bjerke

The display is at the Circulation Desk and these items can be checked out. You can find information about Boise State’s study aboard program at Global Learning Opportunities.
