Photo of library in afternoon sunLooking for an on-campus job? The Library is hiring students for seven different positions throughout the library. We are looking for eager students who enjoy working with people, technology, and information.

Apply via Handshake for as many of the following jobs that might interest you. More detailed job descriptions are available on their site. The #’s after the job title refer to the job code. Work-study students are highly encouraged to apply.

If you are interested in emerging technologies, 3D printing, and working with engaged students from across campus – apply to be a Makerspace Coach (#865646) or Makerspace Lead (#865753).

Students who like working with people and helping them in the computer lab with printing and basic computing needs – apply to be a Computer Lab Assistant (#860328).

Access Services is hiring students who are are organizationally minded and like working on projects alone or in small groups to work in the book shelves. They are also hiring students who love working and talking with people and have great customer to work at the Circulation Desk. Apply to be an Access Services student library assistant (#849976).

Acquisitions and Collections need students to work in interlibrary loan, to pull books from the shelves, mail items, and scan documents – apply to be student library assistant in their area (#860768).

If you are student that has some photo editing skills and would like to work scanning photos and documents and helping digitize collections – apply to be an Archives student library assistant (#859482).

Scholarly Communications & Data Management need students to do detail oriented work, searching databases and tracking data who work well independently – apply to be a student library assistant (#865953)
