Black Lives Matter display

Black Lives Matter display

Taking into account both recent and historic events, Laura Coleman and Amy Vecchione have created a Black Lives Matter display, designed to help you learn more about these issues. This display is filled with resources relating to this current (and historic) issue. There are a variety of sociological, historical, and autobiographical books that can awaken your knowledge of the deeply rooted racism in our society and guide you through the lives of those most affected by racism.

Check out this display at the corner of the Circulation Desk as well as some of these online resources:

Between the world and me

Between the World and Me, by Ta-Nehisi Coates

The new Jim Crow book cover

The New Jim Crow, by Michelle Alexander
