Maps Collection
Most maps may circulate and are
checked out at the 1st Floor Circulation Desk. |
The
Maps Collection, located on the 1st floor, consists of approximately
100,000 maps produced by Governments and private company map-makers.
The collection emphasizes Idaho, the Pacific Northwest, the United
States and Canada, but also has world maps.

The Library has begun a project of including maps in the Online
Catalog. This project will take several years.
If the map you are looking for is not in the Online Catalog, search for it in
the card catalog, adjacent to the map collection. The card catalog indexes most
maps by subject, area and publisher. The card catalog notes
locations such as Special Collections for maps housed elsewhere in
the Library.
