When Boise State students
or faculty find they need materials for their research that the
Albertsons Library does not own, they may be able to acquire these
items through interlibrary loan. Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is used
only to secure specific books or journal articles, not for subject
requests.
Interlibrary Loan at
BSU supplements the Albertsons
Library collection for faculty, staff and students whose projects are
sufficiently long-range that they have time to await receipt of
borrowed items. Before initiating an interlibrary request, you may
want to consult with a librarian at the Reference Assistance Desk to make sure all Albertsons Library
resources have been explored.

Interlibrary Loan Office. This is a collection of notes sent in by
various libraries who have used our ILL service.

Directions: Interlibrary Loan
request forms are available through an online system called ILLiad.
Go to the InterLibrary
Loan web page (http://library.boisestate.edu/ILL) and click on
the link "Request an Interlibrary Loan through ILLiad".
First time users of this system will need to register. You
must be a Boise State University student, staff or faculty member to
use Interlibrary Loan.
