Search Tips
To reduce the number of hits, you can ask the search engine to look only for exact phrases by placing your search terms in quotation marks, for example
"Frank Church" >"Equal rights amendment" "World War II"
However, be aware that a search for a name or phrase in quotation marks will only find that exact form of the name or phrase. For example, if a name has been inverted in an alphabetical list (Church, Frank), it will not be found if you have asked it to search for "Frank Church" (in quotation marks). Be judicious in your use of quotation marks to limit searches.
