Textbook controversy collection, 1981-1992.

Testimony, position papers, book reviews, newspaper clippings, and other material, documenting three public school textbook selection controversies in Idaho, revolving largely around issues of humanism and creationism.  Books discussed include Of Pandas and People (1989) and the Impressions series (1990).  Persons and groups represented include Leah Coash, Ronald Hunter, Anne L. Matjeka, Citizens for Quality Education (Coeur d'Alene, Idaho) and Snow Bowl Chapel (Cascade, Idaho).

Collected by David Baldwin and Anne L. Matjeka and presented to the Library, 1989 and 1997.
