Solicitation of material for inclusion in the EAIW:


Faculty members in anthropology, history, communications and other departments on campus have extensive class, departmental and personal collections of primary cultural materials.  A call for submissions as well as a survey of state and federal agencies, private scholars and collectors will generate sufficient material to establish the EAIW collection.  Inclusion of student, community and individual collections will be considered on a case by case basis using the criteria stated before.  Future ethnographic, historical and community projects will be targeted by advisory group members and release forms, field notes and logging formats will be designed with future archival deposit in mind.
