Part of the front page of the Idaho Statesman of May 4, 1972, two days after the fire began, with a diagram of the Sunshine Mine.  At that point, the extent of loss of life was not yet known.  The Idaho Statesman is kept on microfilm in the Microforms Room of Albertsons Library.
