The University Archives

school

The University Archives is the repository for university publications and the official records of the President, Faculty Senate, ASBSU, and the administrative offices and academic departments of the university.

Back copies of the student newspaper, university catalog, university budget, and yearbook are located in the archives. The Archives also collects books and articles written by faculty members and holds an extensive collection of photographs documenting the history of Boise State University.

Boise State University Policy 1110-A governs the disposition of university records and presents a general disposition schedule.  Much more detail is presented in the State Board of Education's records retention schedules.

University offices are encouraged to call Alan Virta or Mary Carter-Hepworth at x-61736 to discuss the transfer of records and papers.
