Learning and Study Spaces

General Study Space
General study space provides patrons with carrels and tables for individual and group study. These spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that the high traffic areas on the first floor and second floor may not be conducive to quiet study.

Quiet Study Areas
The third and fourth floors are quiet study floors. The Silent Study Room on the fourth floor prohibits all talking.

Group Study Rooms
These private rooms, located throughout the 3rd and 4th floors, allow group work, and are equipped with whiteboards or chalkboards. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis -- reservations are not accepted. Please remember that talking is allowed on the first and second floors; group work may take place in open areas on those floors provided it's not disruptive to other users.

There are two larger group study rooms that can be reserved up to one week in advance - Lib110 and Lib201A. Please ask at the Circulation Desk about making a reservation.

Faculty and Graduate Student Study

There is a faculty and graduate student study lounge located on the third floor. Faculty and graduate students are welcome to use it at any time.
