Public Computing in Albertsons Library

Albertsons Library computers are funded by student technology fees and are restricted to use by students, faculty, and staff. We do, however, have a small number of machines available for community members and visiting researchers who are performing library research. Please be aware that during periods of heavy demand our librarians may only be able to provide minimal service to non-Boise State University patrons.

Guest Computing Policy:

Wireless access is available throughout the Albertsons Library. Guest wireless access is also available; however, wireless guests do not have access to licensed library resources.

Hours:
The Computer Lab is open and staffed with lab assistants during Albertson Library's hours of operation.

Software:
Operating System: Windows XP
Applications: Microsoft Word 2007, Microsoft Excel 2007, Microsoft PowerPoint 2007, Acrobat Reader, Sci-Finder Scholar, ShockWave, Flash, QuickTime, Windows Media Player, Real Player, Google Earth, Adobe Acrobat, iTunes.

Printing: more info
All computers print via the University BroncoPrint system. Printing requires either a student ID or a BroncoPrint card. BroncoPrint cards can be purchased at the library (please see the first floor Circulation Desk for more information). Wireless printing is not available at this time. Printing in the library is set to duplex (double-sided) printing by default, but may be changed if desired. More information can be found on the Printing, Photocopying, and Scanning website.
