One of the best starting places for finding telephone directory information on the Internet is a handy little site named TELEPHONE DIRECTORIES ON THE WEB. It can be accessed at:

There are also several specialized sites for telephone information.

AT&T's ANYWHO provides searches on people (white page information), businesses (yellow page information), reverse telephone number look-up, toll-free numbers, and web-site address. It can be found at:

BIGFOOT provides for searching white page listings, yellow page listings and web page listing. Check it out at:

Superpages.com gives access to yellow page listings and business white page listings for the United States. An additional feature of this site is that each listing is linked to a map interface showing location. The address is:

INFOSPACE  is a white page directory with a map feature that displays the subject's location. See this at:

GO TOLLFREE: THE INTERNET 800 DIRECTORY  is a guide to U.S. toll-free numbers. It can be found at:

LYCOS  Allows a reverse phone number search. An additional feature under the Communities advanced search enables searching on personal characteristics such as occupation, school, religion, etc. Go to:

SWITCHBOARD has an advanced feature that allows searching on group or organizational affiliations such as AARP, American Online and YWCA. Find it at:
