Assistance with the map collection is available at the Reference Desk on the first floor of the Library.
Photocopiers are available in the Maps Department area and will make copies in sizes of 8.5” x 11”, 8.5” x 14”, or 11” x 17”. The price of copies are $.10 by cash; however, 11” x 17” copies are double the key card or cash price. Information about copy cards is available at the Circulation Desk on the first floor.
Large tables are available in the area for use while viewing maps.
DO NOT RE-FILE MAPS AFTER USE. Maps should be left on any of the tables or cabinets in the Maps Department. Library staff will re-file all maps in order to ensure proper filing and to maintain statistical records for in-library map use.
Patrons who check out maps may request cardboard tubes at the Circulation Desk to protect maps from damage.
Any map materials checked out and damaged or lost will be regarded the same as a damaged or lost book; appropriate fines and fees will apply.
