The Library is central to the academic and intellectual life of Boise State University. With the mission of supporting the university’s learning, teaching and research, the Library has an essential role to play as Boise State achieves its vision as a metropolitan research university of distinction. At the same time that Boise State is rapidly changing to respond to this new strategic vision, the Library is also changing, growing and expanding to meet the associated new demands and needs. Essential to this vision is the Library’s ability to provide the research journals, databases and books necessary for this new level of research and academic excellence. The Library also has a significant role in supporting and engaging our students in their research and learning.
