Where in the Library are Magazines, Journals, and Newspapers located? 

Magazines, Journals, and Newspapers can be in one of three physical locations within the building: 

  1. Paper recent issues are in exact alphabetical order on shelves in the “Current Periodicals” section straight ahead from the library entrance beyond "Reference Assistance" toward the riverside windows on the first floor.
     

  2. Microfilm or microfiche issues in alphabetical order in microfilm or microfiche collections are in the “Microforms” section on the center of the east side of the first floor. 


  3.  
  4. Bound issues of periodicals are shelved with books at the appropriate call number location.

     

  5. Electronic issues within a semi-full-text or full-text article database or at a publisher's web site.

To find out which magazine, journal, or newspaper titles are where, check the Journals List, a journals management system linked from "Find Journals" or "Journals" on the Library's Home Page.
