The Boise State University Photo ID card is required to checkout materials from the Library. Checking out materials assumes a contract with the Library to return them on time and in good condition.

Photocopiers and Coin ChangersCoin operated photocopying machines are located on the first and second floors. Change and assistance in using the copiers may be obtained from the first floor Circulation Desk. The Library has a copy card system that provides a savings in photocopy costs to users. Photocopies made with a card cost $ .06; copies without a card cost $ .10 per copy. Paper copies may be made from microfilm/fiche on the reader/printers located in the Microforms Room. Copy prices are the same as for photocopiers. The copy card dispenser is located directly across from the Circulation Desk.
TelephonesPublic telephones are located in the vending room on the 1st floor. Change may be obtained at the Circulation Desk. A telephone for on-campus calls is located on a pillar across from the circulation desk. Telephones for calling the Circulation Desk are also on each upper floor near the computer terminals.
Lost and FoundThe Library lost and found is located at the 1st floor Circulation Desk.
Assistance for Persons with DisabilitiesLibrary staff assistance for retrieving books for patrons with disabilities is available at the Circulation Desk. A study room for students with visual impairments is located on the 4th floor, Room 401S. A key is available at the Circulation Desk.
Special BorrowersAlbertsons Library participates in the Idaho-wide LiLI Express program.
Idaho citizens 18 years or older may be eligible for a special borrowers permit by presenting a current Idaho driver's license, a state ID, or proof of Idaho residency. High school students have limited checkout privileges with the approval of their high school librarian. Consult your high school librarian for details.
Two books may be checked out at the time of application. The special borrowers card is mailed to the address on the application. Once the card is received, the borrower may have up to 10 items checked out.
