The Acquisitions Department of Boise State University Albertsons Library began work on this checklist of Idaho materials in 1988.  The development of this ongoing project coincided with the establishment of the Idaho Collection in the Library and the Idaho Writers Archive at Boise State University.

The purpose of this checklist is to provide a comprehensive listing of the Albertsons Library’s holdings of Idaho publications.  The criteria for titles cited includes works about Idaho, by Idaho authors or published by selected Idaho presses.  An Idaho author is defined as a person who was born in Idaho, lived in the state for two or more years, and/or lived in Idaho at the time of publication.

Citations are arranged alphabetically by author or editor.  Albertsons Library holdings information listed in the citations was current at the point it was added to the Checklist.  Patrons wanting to use materials listed in the checklist should consult the Voyager Catalog for current holdings and location information.
