Lecture notes (5 v.) from Davies's medical studies at Rush Medical College, Chicago, Ill.(1878-1879); book of veterinary prescriptions and remedies (1862) kept by Davies as a druggist's apprentice in Wales; ms. of an unpublished book by Davies entitled Preventive Medicine (1897); miscellaneous medical notes; and poems (1867-1898) by Davies, chiefly on religious and temperance themes.

Repository also has photocopies and type written transcripts of Davies's journal of poems and medical notes.

Gift of Dr. Davies's granddaughter, Elizabeth Lusk Lundy, Des Moines, Iowa, 1978; and of Phoebe Lundy, Boise, Idaho, 1978-1990.
