Includes ca. 75 letters (1935-1949) from J. J. Drinkard, of Drinkard and Emmert Livestock, of Denver, Colo., with detailed commentary on conditions of the cattle market and on national politics, particularly as they affected Western cattlemen; accounts of stockyard sales of Bettis's sheep and cattle (1934-1944); financial statements (1935-1955) for Bettis's ranching interests (principally Crystal Farms Company); brand certificates; and engineering study (1956) of Dewey Mine and Sunnyside Mine, Thunder Mountain Mining District, Valley County, Idaho, prepared by George E. Zeigler.
