ANDRUS2.jpg (24709 bytes) The papers of Cecil D. Andrus are an important resource for the study of Idaho history and the history of environmentalism in the late twentieth century.  Elected Governor four times by the people of Idaho and appointed U.S. Secretary of the Interior by President Jimmy Carter, Cecil D. Andrus compiled a record of public service that is documented in more than 900 boxes of papers, photos, and memorabilia.  This documentary record is preserved at Boise State University in the Special Collections Department of Albertsons Library, where it is cataloged, indexed, and made available to the scholarly community.  For more information contact the Special Collections Department.
