Correspondence, research notes, newspaper clippings, grant applications, and other papers, relating to Trusky's research on silent filmmaker Nell Shipman, the posthumous publication of her autobiography, and Trusky's work to save and restore her films, particularly those made in Idaho. Includes publicity material for film festivals featuring Shipman's motion pictures and photocopies of contemporary newspaper and trade magazine articles about Shipman. Correspondents include Barry Shipman and Peter Morris.

Gift of Tom Trusky.  Additions to the collection are expected.
