Davis-Parrott-Moulton-Sage collection, 1884-1974.      ca. 2 ft.


     Letters, obituaries, clippings, memorabilia, photos, sound recordings, and other papers, of the Davis, Parrott, Moulton, and Sage families, chiefly in Boise, Emmett, and Twin Falls, Idaho; together with genealogical research by James Harlan Davis on the families and their ancestors. Early papers reflect pioneer life in late 19th-century Idaho. Includes microfilm of scrapbooks of James Theron "Ted" Davis (1895-1974) relating to his auto business and political and civic activities in Twin Falls, Idaho; and microfilm of correspondence (1942-1943) of his wife, Olive I. (Parrott) Davis. Other persons represented prominently include James Leroy Davis (1865-1944), George Samuel Parrott (1866-1938), Clayton Tiffin Moulton (1853-1929), and Pierpont H.B. Moulton (1817-1915).
