Correspondence, diaries, articles, geologic field trip logs, lecture notes, account books, photos, and other papers, relating chiefly to Rhodenbaugh's interest in Idaho geology, his teaching career, and family affairs. Includes toxicological investigations (1921) made by Rhodenbaugh as state chemist during the murder trial of Lyda Southard; letters (1932-1934) from Rhodenbaugh's son, Harold Rhodenbaugh (1901-1951), describing his work as photographer and artist for the Washington Post in Washington, D.C.; and photos of Idaho geological features and the Payette Lake region.
