Remote Access Available to Boise State University students, staff, and faculty after entering BroncoWeb userid and password
Help Pages Located within the database by selecting the “Help” tab on the upper right side of the screen
Boolean AND and OROR is the default Boolean on the Basic Search, while either AND or OR  can be selected on the Advanced Search; Boolean logic selector is located in the pull down bar under “Search using” on the lower portion of the Advanced screen
Truncation Symbol None; database has an automatic spell checking feature; each search term or phrase is checked against the fields in the database, and, if a match is not found, the user will be forwarded to a page which explains why the search terms failed and offer other choices; enter search terms in the singular and not the plural, for example, “guitar” not “guitars”
Other Search Options Basic, Browse, and Advanced search options; Browse search is available by selecting a particular category in the left-hand column of the page; Basic search is located at the top right of every page; Advanced can be used by selecting either the “Search” tab or the link to “advanced search” on the top of the opening screen

Special Notes “Reference” tab on the top of the search screen offers access to non-recording materials such as a glossary, images, composer biographies, and brief narratives of historical periods in music
