Computing in Albertsons Library

The entire Albertsons Library is wireless. Printing is not available via a wireless connection on personal laptops; printing is available via wireless on library supplied laptops.

Library Computer Labs
Locations:
1st floor - Reference - 80 computers
2nd floor - CRC - 22 computers

Hours:
The Computer Lab is open and staffed with lab assistants during Library hours of operation.

Operating System: Windows XP
Applications: Microsoft Word 2007, Microsoft Excel 2007, Microsoft PowerPoint 2007, Acrobat Reader, Sci-Finder Scholar, ShockWave, Flash, QuickTime, Windows Media Player, Real Player, Google Earth

Printing: more info
All computers print via the University BroncoPrint system. Printing requires either a student ID, or a BroncoPrint card, which may be purchased at the library. Wireless printing is not available at this time. Printing in the Library is set to duplex (double-sided) printing by default, but may be changed if desired.

 

Laptops:

10 laptops available for 3-hour checkout at the 1st-floor Circulation Desk. Windows, wireless Internet access, Microsoft Office 2007 suite. Print to BroncoPrint printers.

Pilot project funded 100% by student technology fees; available to current students only. Bring your ID and check one out at the Library Circulation Desk, just like you'd check out a book. Laptops are for use in the Library building only.
